Local woman charged with assault

On the 9th of August at approximately 3:00AM, Cst. Jason Long of the North Bay Police Service responded to an incident on Main St. E in front of a local bar. The victim was standing on the sidewalk when a female approached him and sprayed him in the eyes for no apparent reason.

The victim was treated and released from North Bay General Hosptial.

Katlin ROY, 19 years old of Bunting Dr. is charged with Assault With A Weapon and will attend court at a later date.
