TORONTO – Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) Chief Executive Officer Kelly McDougald and CAW’s Hemi Mitic today announced OLG employees at its facilities in Brantford, Sudbury and Toronto have ratified a new three year collective agreement affecting more than 800 employees.

“The last nine weeks have been a difficult time for all of us at OLG and particularly for our employees that have been on strike and their families,” said McDougald. “I am pleased that everyone is coming back to work and look forward to having all OLG facilities open for business this weekend. OLG has a vision to be the role model for gaming entertainment worldwide and this new three year agreement is a part of ensuring we can pursue this vision.”

OLG’s Brantford Casino and OLG Slots at Sudbury Downs will re-open for business on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at noon. Security personnel, who work at OLG Slots at Woodbine, a facility which remained open during the dispute, will report for their regular shifts beginning Tuesday, August 5, 2008.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank both bargaining committees for their hard work and look
forward to making the collective agreement work for all those involved,” said Hemi Mitic,
Assistant to CAW National President Buzz Hargrove.

Highlights of the agreements for employees’ at all three OLG locations will be posted in the near
future on the OLG’s website, www.olg.ca.
