Restoule - Powassan OPP continued its search for Paul ABBEY who was reported missing on Friday, June 13, 2008. ABBEY was last seen in Restoule, Ontario on Friday, May 30, 2008. At that time an extensive search of the area was conducted by OPP speciality units.
On Wednesday, July 16, 2008, an OPP search team returned to the Restoule area to continue the search. Friday, July 18, 2008, a body was located in a swampy area near the shores of Big Rainy Lake.
A post mortem is scheduled at Laurentian Hospital in Sudbury on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.
