Students shine at Business Plan Challenge

The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound Inc. is pleased to announce this year’s finalists of the 2008 FedNor Secondary School Business Plan Challenge. With a focus on promoting entrepreneurship at the high school level, over 100 students participated throughout the Nipissing and Parry Sound Districts.

The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound Inc. would like to congratulate the winners of our region’s 8th Annual FedNor Secondary School Business Plan Challenge and thank everyone who submitted marketing and business plans to the competition.

Business Plan Competition
1st Place ~ Chantal McLean, Algonquin Secondary School ~ $800.00
2nd Place ~ Nancy Faubert, Algonquin Secondary School ~ $500.00
3rd Place ~ Alanna Weder, Chippewa Secondary School ~ $300.00

Marketing Plan Competition
1st Place ~ Taylor Grant, West Ferris Secondary School ~ $500.00
