Bonfield – North Bay OPP is currently investigating three complaints of Break, Enters and Mischiefs over the past week in Bonfield Township, Ontario.

Sometime between Thursday, July 3rd 9 p.m. and Friday, July 4th at 6 a.m., culprit(s) vandalized the Bonfield Public Library located on Highway 531 in Bonfield Twp. Screens were removed and damaged as well as several windows were broken.

Another incident on Greenwood Drive in Bonfield Twp was reported and this would of occurred sometime on Friday, July 4th, 2008. A homeowner returned home at approximately 7 p.m. to find that their home had been broken into. Culprit(s) is believed to have gained entry through a window and then rummaged through drawers and cabinets.

A third incident was reported, when the owner of a Pontoon Boat found it damaged. Sometime between Friday, June 27th and Friday, July 4th, 2008, culprit(s) attended the Bonfield Government Dock and damaged the pontoon boat by cutting the seats and burning an area on the floor.
