It was another fatality free Canada Day Long Weekend for the North Bay cluster area. Of those 158 traffic related charges a total of 95 were for speeding; 3 for over 50 km/h; and 14 seatbelts. As well, 4 persons were charged with Impaired/over 80; 4 persons served with a 12 hour suspension and 9 persons were charged under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA).

This weekend’s traffic related charges demonstrates our officers commitment while on patrol on our local highways, our waterways and even our trails!
