Restoule - Powassan OPP continue their investigation into a missing person complaint on June 13th, 2008.

Paul ABBEY, 48 years old, of Hagersville, Ontario, is described as being 5’ 11”, 165-180 lbs, short thin brown hair, blue eyes with left eye having a brown mark in it; walks with a bit of a hunch and his skin is described as yellow tinged. ABBEY was attending a hunt camp in the Restoule area and has no access to a vehicle.

He was reported last seen at the General Store in Restoule, Ontario on Thursday, May 29th, 2008 in the late afternoon and again in the morning on Friday, May 30th, 2008. He may have stayed locally overnight prior to returning to the hunt camp.

An extensive air, ground and waterways search was conducted by members of the OPP speciality units consisting of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), S.A.V.E., North Bay Detachment Marine and OPP Helicopter.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance for any information that will help the police in locating Paul ABBEY.
