Police warn public Revenue Canada is not making calls

The North Bay Police Service is currently investigating an occurrence related to a male that claims to be calling from Revenue Canada to confirm Social Insurance Numbers and Personal information for their files.

The Public should be aware that Revenue Canada or any Government Agency for that matter does not make telephone inquiries related to personal information.

In the event that anyone has been the recipient of any similar type calls, they are encouraged to contact the North Bay Police Service at (705) 497-5555.
