Girl struck by pellets

On the 18th of June at approximately 10 AM, it is alleged that as a 13 year old girl was playing soccer in a field in the Pinewood Park area of the city, she was struck in the face by either 2 pellets or BBs.

The victim received two large bruises and a laceration to the side of her face.

The investigator believes it may have been possible that the shots came from the Cedar Grove/Tackaberry Dr. area or perhaps from a nearby school playground.
