Fifty years ago the proud Chippewa Raider tradition was born on the rolling treed expanse between Chippewa Creek and Troy Armories.

Thursday June 26th marks the first scheduled event of the fifty year reunion with a gathering of staff, current and past, at North Bay’s Bull and Quench. At noon on Friday the 27th registration at Memorial Gardens will be followed by a wine and cheese social and subsequent club night. On Saturday registration will take place at Chippewa, starting at 9:00 AM with dynamic and interactive displays, including a Raider fashion show, robotics, face painting, alumni art show and numerous sporting activities, both on and off campus. Saturday night it’s back to Memorial Gardens which will be decorated in classic Raider red and gold for a gala dinner.

Check out the website to obtain a dinner ticket; the waiting list is moving well.

Reunion chair, Brian Risk, says that “this event should be one of the biggest of its kind ever hosted in North Bay.” Chippewa will be welcoming returning alumni from the world over: Hong Kong, South Korea, Australia, numerous American states, and Eastern and Western Canada.

Alumni musicians will perform at both evening performances at the Gardens.
