Local man charged with forgery and fraud

Cst. Al Bedard of the North Bay Police culminated an investigation into alleged fraudulent transactions during the 9th to the 12th of May of this year.

It is alleged that cheques were forged and tendered at a local bank on at least 4 separated occasions.

A suspect turned himself over at Police headquarters on the 7th of June after hearing of the investigation.

Andrew TOWNS 23 years old of Oakwood Av. is charged with 4 Counts of Fraud, 4 Counts of Forgery and 4 Counts of Uttering Forged Documents. He is to attend court on the 8th of July.
