The AIDS Committee of North Bay and Area is thrilled with the success of the inaugural A Taste for Life fundraising event raised $6,425 to benefit the health and wellbeing of their clients and the community.

The committee sends out heartfelt thanks to the participating restaurants that made the event possible: 100 Georges, Average Joe’s, Cecil’s Eatery and Beer Society all of North Bay and Joseph’s Family Restaurant in Burks Falls. A big thank goes out to restaurant hosts, Scott Clark, John and Cindy D’Agostino, Carri Johnson & Erin Dokis and Jennifer Furtney for ensuring guests supporting the effort had an enjoyable dining experience.

Event coordinator Kathleen Jodouin says the response from the community was fantastic.

“Thank you to all of those who dined out in support of HIV/AIDS education and prevention in our community. We hope to see you again next year,” she notes.
