Begging leads to arrest

On the 15th of May during the afternoon hours it is alleged that Csts. Ross Lingley and Ashley St. John, saw a man with a dog begging from motorists on Seymour St.

A police computer check of this man showed him to be wanted by the Ottawa Police Service for a Drug Warrant.

As the officers arrested him, he was found to be in possession of a flick knife.

Ernest IDLER 24 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and will be returned to the Ottawa Police Service.
