Students set to celebrate Denim Day

This day is a breast cancer awareness day and we are encouraging staff and students to wear denim and pink to support this day and our friends and family who have been touched personally by this disease.

So mark Tuesday, May 13th on your calendars, and wear Pink & Demin Staff/Students/Families who choose to donate to the cause, will receive a Pink CURE Ribbon.

Please note that donations are not expected, but will be gratefully received.

According to statistics from the Canadian Cancer Society, 22,300 new cases of breast cancer in women and 170 new cases in men were diagnosed in 2007. Of these, 5,345 proved to be fatal.

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to call the school. We hope that you will be able to participate in this special day.
