Drug seizure in Almaguin Highlands

On the evening of 7 May 2008, Cst. Bellemare of the Almaguin Highlands OPP Detachment was on traffic patrol in Perry Twp on Hwy 11. At this time a motor vehicle was stopped for speeding. Further investigation at scene resulted in to males being removed from the car and subsequently searched. Found was 113 grams of suspected cocaine, estimated street value of $11,300.

Charged are:

Jorge TORRES, 54 of Mississauga, Ontario with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Contrary to section 5(2) of The Controlled Drug and Substance Act.

and

Nolis KONSTANTIN, 30 of London, Ontario with
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Contrary to Section 5(2) of The Controlled Drug and Act.
