At 21:45 HRS April 22, Cst. Greg Dix attended at a Manitou Street residence to check on the well being of residents in the area.

Upon attending this residence, it is alleged the occupant became verbally abusive with police and struck the officer.

Audrey Johnston, 42-years-old, of Manitou Street was charged with Assault Police.
