Canadian Red Cross
News Release
***********************
It’s that time of year when senior students are completing their college and university program applications and the Canadian Red Cross would like to assist in meeting their program pre-requisites. Many post-secondary programs require pre-admission proof of First Aid and CPR certification, and completing this training in advance would give students an advantage over other applicants.
The Canadian Red Cross offers a comprehensive First Aid and CPR/AED training program and can meet any level of training required for post-secondary education. Programs of study requiring First Aid and CPR/AED include, but are not limited to:
- Child & Youth Worker (CYW)
- Developmental Services Worker
- Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- Nursing
- Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Paramedic
- Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- Physiotherapist (PT)
- Police Foundations
- Recreation & Leisure Services
- Social Service Worker
For a complete list of programs which require training, or to book a spot in an upcoming training clinic, please call the North Bay branch of the Red Cross at 705.472.5760 ext 132.
