Universities across Ontario are receiving a total of $200 million in provincial funding to help them renew their campuses and improve the learning environment for their students. Nipissing University will receive $2,116,100 of this funding to make improvements to existing buildings, upgrade equipment, renovate facilities, increase energy efficiency and improve security and accessibility, Hon. “Nipissing University thanks the provincial government for this investment. This funding will assist us in building infrastructure so that we can continue to offer our students the high quality, personalized education that is our hallmark,” said Dr. Dennis Mock, Nipissing University President. “We look forward to continuing to work with Minister Milloy and the government in creating the quality learning environment that will produce the skilled knowledge workers who will ensure Ontario’s place as a leader in the global economy.”
