Every April, Canadian Cancer Society volunteers are busy delivering and selling bright, yellow daffodils to help raise money in support of the fight against cancer.

The daffodil is the Canadian cancer Society’s symbol of hope. The bright, cheerful blooms are sold every year and mark the beginning of Daffodil Month.

Six million daffodils are transported over an eight-day period from British Columbia on six transport trucks to more than 65 drop-off sites across Ontario.

Daffodils save lives. Buy a bunch and help fund life-saving cancer research.

Teams will be hitting the streets to sell daffodils Friday, March 28 & Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the following locations:

A&P, Canadian Tire, Dollars Independent Grocer, Food Basics, No Frills, North Bay Mall, Northgate Shopping Centre, Price Choppers, Sobey’s, Wal-Mart.
