Thousands of Christians all over the world marked Good Friday by retracing the route the Bible says Jesus took to his crucifixion.

North Bay was no exception as regional youth a LIVE re-enactment that followed Jesus from the garden in Gethsemane to His death on the Cross on Mount Calvary.

The walk kicked off from Holy Name of Jesus Church on Memorial Street winding their way down Main Street stopping at a number of locations to read one of the stations depicting Christ’s journey.

The pilgrimage wrapped up on the steps of the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption Church on Algonquin Street with the final stations Christ’s crucifixion and his resurrection.
