Public asked for help with missing man Update

A quick call from the Mayne family confirmed that Geoffrey Mayne has been located.

Following that news the North Bay Police Service (NBPS) confirmed that Mr. Mayne was located this morning at 9:45 a.m. safe and sound.

It was reported that Mayne was seen at the Eagle’s Nest Restaurant on Highway 17 West and that the Anishnabek Police Service was contacted, and they in turn contacted NBPS.

The Service extends their thanks to the media and the public for their assistance.

Officals are requesting your help locating Geoffrey Mayne, 19 years of age, 5' 6", brown hair, brown eyes, 125 lbs.

Mayne was last seen in North Bay Saturday, March 8, about 3:30 p.m. in the Gormanville and Highway 17 area. He was wearing a dark blue bomber jacket, jeans and carrying a black backpack.

Anyone who may have seen or spoken with him is asked to call North Bay City Police at 497-5555 as his family is anxious to locate him.
