The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) is now accepting registrations for the NBMCA’s March Break Day Camp, which will take place between March 10 - 14, 2008, from 10:00a.m. – 3:00p.m at 15 Janey Avenue in North Bay. The March Break Day Camp is designed for elementary school students aged 6 to 12 years old and is an expansion of the NBMCA’s popular environmental education program. Participants can register for the whole week, half days or single days with optional before and after care. Cost of the camp is $26.00 a day or $105.00 a week per participant.

The participants will enjoy a variety of fun, environmentally based indoor and outdoor activities including snowshoeing, nature studies, crafts and games. A pizza lunch on Friday, March 14th is included in the camp fee. The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) was founded in 1972 by the Province of Ontario and the NBMCA’s 10 member municipalities. A non-profit organisation, the NBMCA works closely with the public to ensure the environmental health of the region’s watershed. The NBMCA is one of 36 Conservation Authorities who are members of Conservation Ontario.
