Strap on the snowshoes and discover the trails

The Discovery Routes Trails Organization introduces their latest initiative today at the North Bay Nordic Ski Club on North Shore Road.

Discovery Routes has teamed up with the ski club to host a free day of snowshoeing, which in turn will launch a new snowshoeing trail.

The kick off features guided snowshoe hikes along the new trail along with a GPS treasure hunt, hot chocolate and a bonfire.

Snowshoes will be available during the launch for both youth and adults, with the fun gets underway at 1 pm at 630 North Shore Road.
