Editor Carol Malyon and contributors Ken Stange and Janet Calcaterra will be signing their book “Imagination in Action:Thoughts on Creativity” on Friday, February 29, from 7:30 to 9 pm at Gulliver’s.

These three authors will all be participating in Books by the Bay in Callander, July 18-20.

The collection includes works from forty-four artists from Truro, Nova Scotia to Victoria, British Columbia. From a wide spectrum of artists from various disciplines, contributors explore both their theories and confessions about creativity.

Carol Malyon’s latest novel, “Cathedral Women”, was published in 2006. She currently lives in Toronto.

Ken Stange’s works include books of poetry and fiction, arts journalism, scientific papers, computer programs, philosophical essays, and visual art. He lectures at Nipissing University and lives in North Bay.

Janet Calcaterra has worked as a teacher, archivist and curator, and has published fiction, travel, and gardening pieces. She currently writes and teaches English at Canadore College in North Bay.
