Joint forces search warrant leads to drug bust

On Friday February 8th 2008, members of the Joint Forces Drug Unit, which is comprised of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section and the North Bay Police Service, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a North Bay residence.

As a result of the search, 15 grams of cocaine, 252 grams of marihuana, 17 Oxycodone pills and over $1800.00 cash were seized. The potential street value of the drugs seized is $6635.00.

CHARGED ARE:

1. Robert PENNER, age 32 yrs, of North Bay
Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking - 3 Counts

Held in custody pending a bail hearing.


2. Cindy MACK, age 34yrs, of North Bay
Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking - 3 Counts

Released on a Promise to Appear with conditions.
