Ice Breakers off to the Big Apple with your help

On April 4, 2007 Justin Byers world changed forever when he broke his neck during a wrestling match in his gym class. Justin, a quadriplegic, is now adjusting to life after the accident and has become a member of the Ice Breakers sledge hockey team.

Justin, a quadriplegic, is now adjusting to life after the accident and has become a member of the Ice Breakers sledge hockey team.

This weekend the Ice Breakers are hosting a fundraising game that will them against the powerful Powassan Volunteer Fire Department in order to raise funds for their next big sledge tournament in the "the big apple" New York, New York.

The game takes place at the Sportsplex in Powassan on the Sunday February, 10th from 3:00 to 4:30pm and entry fee to the game is a donation of any denomination at the door.

Officials tell Baytoday that will make provisions for anyone who wants to try the sledge board out for themselves.
