Local man charged with three counts of Sexual Assault

On February 04, Cst. Shepstone & Kilroy of the North Bay Police Service received a complaint from a 44-year-old female that she had been beaten by a male acquaintance, over a period of time. Police investigating observed a large bruise on the victim’s eye and red marks on the victim’s neck. She also complained of being sexually assaulted and threatened with death if she tried to leave him.

James Richmond Hiltz, 42-years old, of 1078 Lakeshore Drive in North Bay was arrested at 2207 Feb. 04 and is charged with three counts of Domestic Assault, three counts of Sexual Assault, and Threatening Death. He is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
