Youth charged with robbery

On the 28th of Jan. a 17 year old male student turned himself in to Det. Cst. Larry Asselin of the School Liaison Unit at the North Bay Police Service.

It is alleged that while attending a local secondary school on the 24th of Jan. this male accosted another male student and demanded his IPOD and then forcibly removed it from him all the while threatening him.

This was reported to Police who then commenced their investigation.

A 17 year old male youth is charged with Robbery and remains in custody for a bail hearing.
