Psychology professor giving guest lecture

Nipissing University psychology professor Dr. Matti Saari is giving a guest lecture on neuroscience and consciousness at the university on January 30, at 6:30 p.m. in room A242.

Titled Psychology as the Neural Monist views it, Saari's lecture attempts to debunk the Descartian notion of consciousness and will discuss what place consciousness has in the discipline of psychology.

The lecture is organized by NipissingYOU, a group of Nipissing students deeply committed to student activism and enhancing the Nipissing University educational experience.

The lecture is free of charge and everyone is welcome.
