École St-Vincent will be open tomorrow. The school was
closed on Friday to rectify a temporary air quality problem. Tests undertaken on Friday confirmed that this temporary problem has been completely resolved and confirmed that students and personnel could now safely return to the school.

“I am happy to confirm that St-Vincent students will be back in their classrooms tomorrow. The manner in which this exceptional situation was treated and the speed with which corrective measures were applied, only serve to emphasize the importance we place on our students’ safety.”

The Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord has 17 French language Catholic schools, 14 elementary and 3 secondary. Over 3,300 students attend a CSCFN school, covering the area including the municipalities of Thorne, Mattawa, Astorville, Bonfield, North Bay and West Nipissing.
