Parry Sound region school buses cancelled on Thursday

The Nipissing-Parry Sound Transportation Services Consortium has notified the Near North District School Board that school buses will be cancelled on Thursday, January 10th in both the East Parry Sound and West Parry Sound regions due to the poor road conditions.

At the time of this release all Near North District School Board schools, with the exception of Britt Public School and Evergreen Heights Education Centre, Sundridge Centennial, Magnetewan Central and Almaguin Highlands Secondary School, will be open on Thursday. Should there be any changes to the status of school closures, the media will be notified. In addition, updates of any additional school closures will be posted on the Near North District School Board website.
