Flooding sends South Shore students home early today

The Nipissing-Parry Sound Transportation Services Consortium has notified the Near North District School Board that there have been a few road closures in the Restoule area this morning. Some South Shore Education Centre students, who live on roads that have the potential of closing later in the day, will be bused home early only if their parents can be contacted.

All buses are scheduled to run at the end of the school day; however, if there are road closures, parents should be prepared to meet the bus and their child on a main artery or transfer point.

Parents may wish to pick up their children from school early today if they are concerned they live on a road with questionable conditions.
