On the 6th of Jan. some time after 7 PM Csts. Tom Robertson and Brad Reaume of the North Bay Police attended a residence on Labreche Dr. in relation to a wanted person for theft.
An individual ran out the back entrance and into a nearby bush area. The officers followed and once having caught up to the suspect, he began to fight with them.
Jason GILLIS 32 years old of Labreche Dr. is charged with Theft Under and Assault With Intent to Resist Arrest. He remains in custody for a bail hearing.
