Like precision clockwork volunteers circled the mountains of food filling hampers at the Troy Armouries Saturday night for the North Bay Santa Fund.
It took just over 2 hours for the volunteers to fill 675 food hampers and whatever the reason was that brought out the 200 plus volunteers folks said they could truly feel the a sense of community and good will that filled the building.
At the end of the evening a sea of white laundry baskets billowing over with everything from turkeys, stuffing, and even tin foil for the a complete Christmas meal covered the entire floor waiting for Sunday’s delivery.
