..Snowfall warning...

A band of snow heavy at times will move over the warned regions from the northwest. Snow will persist all night producing near 15 centimetres of snow. Snow will end by Monday morning over western sections and near the Québec border by noon Monday.

...Flash freeze warning...

The major thaw experienced this weekend will come to an abrupt end this evening in areas such as Chapleau..Elliot Lake..Sudbury..And North Bay as temperatures fall well below freezing. The freeze will not occur in northern areas such as Timmins and Kapuskasing until overnight.

...Snowsquall warning...

The colder air will allow flurries and localized snow squalls to generate to the northeast of Georgian Bay along with brisk southwest winds. Although 15 centimetres are likely in some locales by Monday morning the blowing snow caused by brisk winds will be the main concern. Visibilities may be close to zero at times making for hazardous travel in locales in and around North Bay.

This is a warning that snowsqualls are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

An intense disturbance trekking across the central Great Lakes today will generate a variety of roller coaster weather. Periods of rain over parts of northeastern Ontario will give way to snow in most places later today or tonight as slightly colder air envelops the region. Snowfall amounts of 15 centimetres are possible later today and this evening over districts under the winter storm watch. This may be upgraded to a snowfall warning as conditions warrant.

Colder air will quickly settle back across the Nickel Belt tonight. This will allow flurries and localized snow squalls to generate to the northeast of Georgian Bay along with brisk southwest winds. Although 15 centimetres are likely in some locales by Monday morning..The blowing snow caused by brisk winds will be the main concern. Visibilities may be close to zero at times making for hazardous travel in locales in and around North Bay.
