Man charged following knife attack

On December 12, 2007 at approximately 1750, two males, known to each other had been socializing at a private residence at 800 Block Cassells street.

One of the males engaged in an unprovoked attack on the second male, grabbed a filleting knife and started to swing the knife at the victim, cutting him on his face and slashing his coat. The victim fled, and contacted police. The victim refused medical attention.

Michael Fisher, 68 years old, of Cassells Street is charged with Assault With a Weapon.
