Woman dies in crash with ONR train (update)

Reports indicate that a 27-year-old North Bay woman died Wednesday following a collision with her vehicle collided with an ONR train in the Emsdale area.

OPP reports further indicates that the grey minivan Christine Gay was traveling east on Highway 518 at about 2pm when it collided with the northbound train. The railway crossing lights were working at the time of the collision

Gay was the lone occupant of the vehicle and no injuries to the passengers or crew were reported.

OPP continue their investigation.
