The spirit of Christmas is alive and well at Neil Communications on Shirreff Avenue today. Diane McLeod informed BayToday.ca that she is very proud of the selfless act her fellow co-workers preformed and challenges other businesses in the area to follow their lead.
“Instead of buying gifts for each other this year, we've decided to buy toys to put smiles on kids faces this Christmas morning,” she notes.
“If all local businesses came on board and did the same thing, the children of North Bay would have one heck of a Christmas!”
“It’s never too late to give to the kids of North Bay. So here's a challenge to all the businesses!”
Employees are delivering the gifts to the McDonald’s Restaurant on Lakeshore Drive today at noon to help with the restaurant’s Christmas Toy Drive.
