It seems that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s October bill to ban smoking in cars with kids in California not only appealed to the Ontario Medical Association, it appears that our politicians also liked the bill.
In fact Sault Ste. Marie MPP David Orazietti will introduce his own bill Thursday at Queen’s Park for Ontario that would prohibit smoking in cars where children and youth are present.
Orazietti will be joined by health-care advocates at a 1pm news release ahead of tabling the bill.
