The Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service is actively searching for a suspect involved in a stabbing incident that occurred in Wikwemikong on Friday, November 23rd, 2007.
At 10:55 PM, the Wikwemikong Tribal Police received a call to assist the Manitoulin Ambulance Service at a residence in Wikwemikong with a stabbing victim. The victim, a 19 year old male from Wikwemikong, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect in this incident was last seen fleeing the residence. The suspect is described as male, fair complexion, and approximately 20-25 years of age.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police Specialized Units.
Police are seeking the assistance of the public in the investigation.
