Fatal collision on Highway 535

St. Charles - On Tuesday, November 20th 2007, at about 6:28 am, members of the Noelville OPP and Warren OPP Satellite Detachments responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 535 at the Nepewassi River bridge, North of St. Charles.

A north bound car collided with a south bound pick up truck. The driver and a passenger in the truck were transported to St-Joseph’s Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver and lone occupant of the car was fatally injured and has been identified as Jeffrey Walter HUNT, age 38 of St. Charles. Road conditions were a factor in this collision.

Members of the Noelville OPP Detachment with the assistance of an OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigator and an OPP Collision Reconstructionist are continuing their investigation into this fatal collision.
