Premier Dalton McGuinty is set to swear in his new cabinet at 2pm today and the Toronto Star is reporting that Dwight Duncan will take on the post of Finance Minister in the wake of Greg Sorbara's departure from cabinet.
The Star is also reporting that Nipissing MPP Monique Smith will join fellow newcomers MPPs Brad Duguid (Scarborough Centre), Kevin Flynn (Oakville), and Liz Sandals (Guelph) in cabinet.
They further report that McGuinty is tossing Natural Resources and Aboriginal Affairs Minister David Ramsay, Environment Minister Laurel Broten, Public Safety Minister Monte Kwinter, and Labour Minister Steve Peters from cabinet.
