Traffic stop produces pot and weapon

On the 25th of Oct. shortly after 11 PM a routine traffic stop for Csts. Ken Rice and Matt Parker of the North Bay Police turned up a little something else.

It is alleged that there was an odour of marijuana coming from within the vehicle and the driver was found in possession of this substance as well as having a flick knife.

William Brett McDONALD 22 years old of Beattie St. is charged with Possession of Marijuana, Being in Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Breach of a Prohibition Order in regards to the Weapon. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
