NECO Community Futures Development Corporation, one of 61 provincial CFDCs, hosted an Open House Friday to celebrate the annual CFDC Day.
The open house provided local residents with a view of the programs and services provided by NECO, as well as tours of their new location.
NECO is a regional economic development organization which invests in and nurtures small business and develops partnerships to create jobs and prosperity in the communities of East Nipissing and Parry Sound.
NECO is funded by Industry Canada, and governed by a board of directors. They provide Business Development Services, Investment in Business, and Community Development. They also host the Regional Youth Entrepreneurship Program, and the Young Entrepreneurship Program.
