City police arrest violent male in home invasion incident

On Thursday Oct 18, 2007 at 5 pm The North Bay City Police Emergency response team and the Criminal investigation section were called out for service.

The police investigation revealed that this accused was possibly armed with a handgun & hiding in a home on Galt Street. A short time later the accused was seen leaving the home and was promptly apprehended by the team. The taser was deployed upon affecting this arrest, he was found to be in possession of bear spray.

Charged with Robbery, Break Enter and theft in relation to a home invasion, Threatening death, Mischief and Breaches of court order is Darryl Babinski 30 yrs old of North Bay.

He will appear in court on Friday to face a bail hearing in relation to the charges.
