Expect delays on Highway 63 Wednesday

The Ministry of Transportation wishes to advise the public that Highway 63 at Four Mile Creek, located approximately 10 km east of Highway 11/17, will be reduced to one lane beginning Wednesday, October 24, 2007.

The one lane reduction is required to facilitate field work and construction of a new highway culvert at Four Mile Creek. The ministry expects minor traffic delays at peak traffic times.

The speed limit in the area of the culvert will be reduced to 60 km/h and temporary traffic signals installed. Drivers are reminded to stay alert and reduce their speed as they approach the creek.

Construction is expected to be complete in early spring 2008.
