Shortly before 4 AM on Friday the 12th of Oct. a man attended Country Style on Foren St. and ordered a coffee. He then exited the store and after a few minutes, returned and jumped over the counter and attacked the male employee. He threatened physical harm in order to obtain cash but the employee was able to run to the back of the store where another employee was working.

The attacker then ran out of the store and North Bay Police were called.

Several minutes later Csts. Ian Sharp and Tom Robertson working plainclothes were able to spot the suspect in the downtown core and arrested him.

Mark OKIMAW 30 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Robbery and was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
