Fire destroys Bonfield home

Bonfield – North Bay OPP responded to a fire in Bonfield Township at approximately 9:15 am today.

On October 10th, 2007, shortly after 9 a.m., a passerby observed smoke coming from a residence on Pine Lake Road in the Bonfield Township. The witness called 911 after checking if anyone was inside the residence. There was no one home at the time of the fire. Bonfield Fire Department as well as the OPP attended the scene.

The home of Neil HOULE was completely destroyed as a result. The fire is not deemed suspicious in nature.
