Suspect flees after striking security person

On the 29th of Sept. at approximately 2:30 PM it is alleged that a man removed a trailer attached to a vehicle within the parking lot of Northgate Mall.

This was observed by security personnel who then attended in an attempt to stop this crime.

As the vehicle in question was being flagged down, the suspect driver ran into a security person causing a slight injury to his leg.

The driver then continued but momentarily stopped to detach the trailer from the vehicle and then fled the area.

The vehicle is described as a 1999 to 2001 Dodge Caravan, silver in colour with a rear spoiler and a trailer hitch. The plate contained the letters A M and T on it.

There were 2 occupants within the vehicle and one of them is described as:
Male white 35 to 40 years old wearing a red shirt with a white baseball hat.
