Driver Flees during routine stop

Mattawa - Mattawa OPP is investigating an incident where a male fled police after a routine traffic stop on Sunday, September 16th, 2007, on Hwy 17 in Mattawa.

A vehicle was pulled over in a routine radar stop on Highway 17 in the town of Mattawa at approximately 9:40 pm on Sunday, September 16th, 2007. The male driver then fled from police and was shortly after arrested in the Bonfield area. Charged is Brandon Doering (18 years old) of White Water Region Township with Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle, Flight from Police Officer and Fail to Remain at Scene of Collision.

Doering was released on a Promise to Appear with court date of November 14th, 2007 in Mattawa.
